PART 6:
It was a whim. Family came to visit briefly before they continued there trip to the coast. The next day we jumped in the car and drove the hour + to see what they were up too.
The coast was cold and foggy. When we first got there we couldn't even see the water the clouds were so thick. But eventually the haze started to shift and we could see the beach, the waves and little farther out to sea.
Coastal winds were relentless. They sent a chill right to the bone but it didn't stop anyone from going out into the icy water. Tanner loved it. It was scary enough out in the waves that I didn't have to worry about him running out to far. Mason stuck by his cousin's side, running in and out of the wave then finding some warm sand to dig his fingers and toes into to warm up before doing it all over again.
We're so glad we bypassed logic and just ran to the coast. It was so much fun. And Mason loves his cousins. Any time he gets to spend with any of them he remembers forever.
