Indoor Camping

PART 5:

We don't have air conditioning. Apparently, it's common here. Last year wasn't so bad. But this year we've been experiencing some super hot days. And in our two-story place the upstairs, where all the bedrooms are, became so hot it was unbearable. Mason marked a spot on the stairs and called it the equator. You can probably guess why.

Then we had some very kind members of the ward, upon hearing our situation, brought us their old portable AC unit. We put it in the living room and decided to pitch the tent to catch all the cool air that it produced. This saved us for a time. Tanner had a hard time sleeping in the tent because it's just so exciting to have a tent in the living room. But Mason and Daddy managed to sleep in it all night.

What a treat it was.
