T=Ball

I love watching Mason do T-Ball. I mean, at the Kindergarten level it's all about participation and hanging out with friends, only moderately about how to play the game. But still, it's fun seeing little instructions start to click with Mason. When given the chance he would run to the pitchers' mound so that he could be right in front of the ball being hit. In the beginning, we usually caught him digging in the dirt, staring into the sky at an airplane or sitting on the mound. Towards the end, he was watching the hitter and fighting his own teammates to retrieve the ball, not sure where to throw it if he happened to win.

Still progress. He's definitely interested in sports. Soccer has his interest a lot. I look forward to the day it clicks that hard work and focus = fun! It'll be an interesting day indeed.

And then there's Tanner. He was not interested at all in watching, only doing. Each game consisted of him chasing around some friends, or sharing his snacks with strangers. He made a friend, Max, he's just a few months younger and the two boys got into so much trouble. While moms were trying to watch the games, Ant hills were sat in, rocks were thrown, buckets of balls dumped, and I'm pretty sure squirrels were chased but thankfully not caught. These two boys were a blast but they had to be watched constantly!

Life is full of growing excitement.
This is my family and we're loving it!
