Happy Christmas EVE!!!

It's been a while but I have something fun to post. Today we finally made it out to the Carden's Ranch. They've been inviting us out for the past year but we've never made it happen. They own a beautiful piece of land where they board horses, breed them, train them, and his wife is one of the best vetrinarians in the area. It was about time we went out to see what the place was like.

Mason was hesitant at the start. We were surrounded by six, very friendly, 2 year old horses. All from the same stud, and they were beautiful! Not to mention the most gentle horses I've ever been around. We tried taking pictures but they all wanted to be in the front so we didn't get much in ways of pictures.

After all that love, we tried getting Mason to ride Billy Bob the pony. He wasn't to excited about that idea. However he let Brother Carden set him on Billy Bob's back for a minute and Mason was okay with it. But he was relieved to get down.

Wandering around the ranch Mason got more comfortable with the idea of being surrounded by horses, dogs, and cats. He probably would have ridden Billy Bob at the end. Perhaps next time.

We then went ice skating again. Mason still a champ! The great thing about the ice rink here, is it's free. I love that it's free 'cause you never know how long a three year old will last. Althought it's not a surprise we have to drag Mason off the ice.
