Washington Trip

We got a free trip up to Washington. Grandpa Kent was down here in Utah and he needed someone to ride back up with him. Someone to keep him awake. And Mason was up for the challenge. It was a great ride. Mason slept a total of 20 minutes on the 10 hour drive, but he was happy, and sweet, and sometimes very quiet, as he watched the scenery go by. Every once in a while we'd hear him singing "Lets Go Fly a Kite" or "Twinkle Twinkle". Otherwise he was giggling and laughing with grandpa, mostly while mommy was driving.

After we played with all of Grandma Cindy's toys, and got a good night sleep we jumped in the car again and headed further North to Spokane. Where we were meeting the cousins' at Grandma's cottage on the lake. First we needed to pick up some supplies. Mason thought he found a pretty good
ride, but that only lasted a few minutes.

Then the cousins made it!

And then we went outside to play in the sand and water.

This is "The Machine" or at least that's what Mason decided it was called. I think this toy is worth three times the amount we paid. He played with it for hours! And he pretty much had everyone playing with it too.

He and Wesley enjoyed destroying the Sand Castle Mommy worked so hard to build. But it was fun watching it smoosh under there feet.

Mason Adores Lindsey. He adore all of his cousins but for some reason he attached himself to her this trip. Could be the fact she was just as delighted to see him as he was to see her.

So many pictures. We'll stop here for now. The adventure continues when we go back to Aunt Brie's house and Mason's introduced to the biggest playroom he's ever seen!
Later Days!
