One day Mason and Mommy decided to take a trip to Washington ... no not that Washington the State Washington. Because they wanted to visit there family.
So first Mason got on an airplane - (I'm missing some pictures, because I left the camera in Washington so basically more will be added later)
INSERT PICTURE OF MOMMY AND MASON AT THE AIRPORT
Mason loved the plane, he slept on the take off and slept on the landing but all the while, in the air, he was very curious about what was going on and who all these strange people were. But it didn't matter, Mason smiled at everyone. (Yep wish I had a picture of that)
Once Mason landed in Washington we were greeted by Grandma Cindy and she quickly took us home where Mason got to play with all sorts of new toys.
INSERT PICTURE OF EMRIE HOLDING MASON
Emrie was so gentle with Mason and she loved to hold him, with her mothers help of course. And quickly uncle Trevor began the brainwashing ... I mean introduction.
INSERT VIDEO OF UNCLE TREVOR EXPLAINING WHY HE IS THE FAVORITE UNCLE - oh yeah it's funny.
The NEXT day Mason and Mommy rushed into town to meet great -Grandma Norma. There was a lot of smiling and a few tears (grandma not mason) in fact Mason was so comfortable with his greatgrandma that he fell asleep in her lap for a really long time.
Great Grandma Norma continued to explain to Mason how long we had waited, prayed and worked to get him here. And that he was going to have a lot of fun being part of the family.
A few days later came the main event. Mason went to the Cottage to spend time with Grandpa Kent. And boy did they have fun.
Though they spent most of the time inside Mason loved spending time with just the boys. Although he still loved it when the girls came home from a few hours of shopping.
He couldn't get enough of Aunt Brie. But Mason loved hanging out with Grandpa so much he even let mommy go spend time with her sister and mother. How could he say no when they had tickets to the Broadway play, Mary Poppins.
Yes Yes Starring me as Mary Poppins. You know you'd go see that play!
After the Cottage Mason rushed back to Grandma and Grandpas so that he could go to Church. He knew that there were many people in mommy's hometown that were anxiously waiting to see him. Sadly he and mommy didn't spent much time in Sunday school or Relief Society, they spent the time walking the halls where one relative after another would stop them and feel he hair, give him a kiss and those that had called dibs got to hold him.
Mason loved the attention.
After Church the KIDS came to play.
INSERT VIDEO OF FIRST ENCOUNTER - It's hiliarous
Allison was first to hold and feed Mason. Mostly because she was quick and at the right place at the right time.
Mason loved Wesley. He thought playing with another little boy was amazing. Wes and Mason talked and talked. I asked Wesley what he thought Mason was saying and Wes insists that they were talking about all the sports that they were going to play together and than Wesley declared he was going to be Mason's soccer coach and Swim coach.
Mason was still smiling and loving the attention.
INSERT PICTURE OF LINDSEY HOLDING MASON
Mason loved Halle and Allison. They held him the most and if mom would have let them they'd have fed him changed him and put him to bed every night. They even sand to him when he was fussy. (Yes I have video of that too must get that camera back soon)
More about Mason's trip soon to come. But patience is a bit difficult.
