When a child is crying and mad for no reason, or maybe he's just too tired and refuses to go sleep - DISTRACT. Right. That usually seems to work. Mason's favorite distraction is very simple ... walk out the backdoor.
Instantly Mason throws his head back, and if you try to lift it back up he will find a way to out maneuver you so that he can see whatever is up above. I guess he was tired of looking at the ceiling because he could have daddy walking him around outside all day. The two of them have spent the last few evenings just walking around our backyard.
Usually a look of complete bewilderment is on this little boys face when you bring him back inside. As if he had just discovered the most amazing thing. Looks like we'll be spending a whole lot of time outdoors with this one ... which was pretty much what we expected from day one. :)
